Initial Situation
DZ BANK AG, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, is a central and corporate bank, as well as the parent holding company of the DZ BANK Group. As a corporate bank, it provides services to corporations and institutions that require an international banking partner. As a central bank, however, its goal is to offer relevant products and services to the more than 1,100 Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken (cooperative banks) in Germany.
In cooperation with the investment banking business sector of DZ BANK, Peter Schmidt Group, one of Germany's top 3 branding agencies, has developed the premium product brand "AKZENT Invest ZERTIFIKATE DER DZ BANK" for the certificates market.
Every year, hundreds of "AKZENT Invest" private label issues are floated and sold to end customers at the cooperative banks' points of sales via communication measures and materials.
The large volume of the individual new issue projects, which usually consist of 25 individual print templates and have a maturity of less than 80 days, creates bottlenecks, as well as quality and cost problems affecting the timely template creation and subsequent production and logistics processes.
The Solution
The "DZ BANK AKZENT Invest MedienCenter" was developed based on the iBrams brand management solution. iBrams supports issues floating and production planning processes. In addition, the "marketing box" based on iBrams allows product managers to develop their own marketing materials.
More than 250 templates (advertisements, flyers, letters, brochures, promotional gifts) are available web-based, and thus globally around the clock, through the MedienCenter. The easy handling allows participating Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken to customize the templates while effortlessly remaining in line with the CD specifications of the AKZENT Invest product brand.
As a centrally applied marketing box, the system produces print-ready templates that can be produced by the desired printing service provider.
Success Story
The application of iBrams ensures that the marketing materials for each issue are consistently produced in line with CD requirements and are provided to the VR banks in a timely manner.
Thanks to its problem-free introduction, user-friendliness and efficient workflow, all participants of the "MedienCenter" quickly adopted the new solution. Six months after its introduction, more than 500 banks with 1,200 users already applied the system. In light of double-digit growth rates per month and based on the considerable time and cost savings resulting from the automated creation and central production of issues and marketing materials, DZ BANK is very satisfied with the introduction of iBrams and plans to extend the application of the solution by further functionalities.
