Uniform training materials - AIMCO deploys iBrams
Initial Situation
Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO) headquartered in Denver, Colorado, is the United States' largest facility management corporation, handling 240,000 properties across 47 U.S. states. AIMCO provides the full range of services from acquisition to management and building care for approximately 1 million tenants and owners of apartment complexes.
For cooperation and training of facility managers, not only at the headquarters in Denver, but also at the 19 regional branches require uniform training materials– a logistical challenge. The materials should always contain up to date information and provide room for local adjustments, yet consistently comply with corporate design specifications.
The Solution
Following an extensive global market analysis, AIMCO opted for iBrams. The brand management solution was the only application offering a comprehensive approach coupled with short implementation times.
Key criteria for the decision were the facts that iBrams can be configured by customers themselves and can easily be adjusted to changing requirements. Thus, new design and communication specifications can be quickly processed and implemented at previously determined locations and with a precisely defined scope.
The web-based application enables the creation of templates complying with corporate design specifications that can be altered at any time and everywhere by authorized users. This way, all training materials have a uniform appearance in line with AIMCO standards, while at the same time being individualized according to need.
Success Story
AIMCO primarily applies iBrams in the area of technical training for the support and training employees in charge of care and maintenance of the properties managed by AIMCO. Using iBrams, the training materials can be prepared flexibly and timely and adjusted to the respective training requirements on location in compliance with CI specifications.
"iBrams facilitates our everyday work – it eliminated complicated coordination processes as well as many manual tasks. We not only save time and money, but also use the system for tasks we had not originally planned– such as corporate communications and marketing “, said Brian Reyman, Content Development Manager at AIMCO.
The clearly laid-out design cockpit of the program, which only requires an Internet browser for operation, allows the easy and cost-effective introduction of the program. At AIMCO, the implementation of iBrams was completed in less than one month.
