Initial Situation
Media-Print Informationstechnologie GmbH, headquartered in Paderborn, is among Germany's most highly productive print shops. Its core specialty are customized and efficient solutions for the production of technical instruction booklets and manuals, 1,000-page database-supported catalogs, various travel catalogs, exclusive special interest magazines, as well as approximately 90 million package inserts annually.

For many years, the print shop has consistently automated its ordering processes. The positive experiences made with this approach encouraged the printing service provider to continue along this path.
