How a professor is helping the iBrams customers of tomorrow
Renowned Expert for Interface Design and Usability collaborates with CDO on iBrams 5.0
Professor Wolfgang Henseler, expert on customer and user-oriented internet solutions
Even though the latest version of iBrams, 4.2, has just been launched, CDO is already working in full swing on the next large release. One of the focal points of the efforts is the maximization of user friendliness to allow even more simple, flexible and intuitive handling of iBrams via the Internet. To this end, the team of head developer Robert Gies has gained the support of an expert - Professor Wolfgang Henseler teaches digital media, usability and customer relations management at the University of Pforzheim and is an expert on customer and user-oriented internet solutions. Henseler, who also holds the post of Managing Creative Director at Syzygy Deutschland GmbH, recently worked on projects for customers including Mercedes Benz and Deutsche Bank.
“Based on a comprehensive analysis of the operating procedures and user processes we are now working together on rendering the entire handling based on Adobe Flex even more intuitive and simple,” said Prof. Henseler. “Our aim is to especially further optimize the implementation of day-to-day tasks,” he added.
Flex is a technology by CDO partner Adobe Systems for the creation of Rich Internet Applications (RIA) for the application in corporate environments. “The next version should allow our customers to better recognize and utilize the immense range of functions of the iBrams software platform,” said Robert Gies, Director Software Development at CDO Corporate Design Online. “iBrams 5.0 will make the creation of customized marketing and sales documents in compliance with the respective design regulations considerably easier than ever before.”
iBrams 5.0 is expected to become available in early 2009, further details are not available yet.
