ZIPCON Consulting and the German Printing and Media Industries Federation (bvdm) award top rating to iBrams and partner solution from Media IT Services
Frankfurt am Main, 23. July 2009 – The bvdm (German Printing and Media Industries Federation) and ZIPCON Consulting presented the findings of their joint study "Web-to-Print 09/10". A total of 96 products and solutions from Germany and Europe were studied and evaluated in terms of their possible uses. Already in the first edition of the study in 2007, the iBrams integrated Brand Management Solution came first in the top category. In the current study, the solution excelled in two categories and demonstrated its capability for different target groups. The open and flexible architecture of the solution was pointed out by the jury underlining the suitability for comprehensive marketing management by service providers, agencies and industry.
The numerous features and capabilities of the product as well as the different references underscore iBrams claim for being the industry's benchmark. Customer references include the deployment of the product at Euronics, where more than 10,000 dealers use the solution to produce adverts, business stationery, posters and artwork. Testimonials by Shell and Adolf Würth AG also impressed the jury resulting in iBrams winning the category of campaign automats / workflow and campaign automats outdoing many capable rivals.
A portal solution by partner Media IT Services was also tested. This iBrams-based solution is used by L’Oréal, among others. The marketing and communication portal (www.mein-salonerfolg.de) enables dealers and partners to manage the entire process from idea to production using a single platform. The most diverse marketing materials can be easily individualized, ordered, produced and invoiced with 100 percent accuracy. That means that affiliated salons can respond extremely flexible depending on their own specific needs.
The study concludes: "The solution, built around iBrams, delivers what it promises. Crisp user navigation even with complex products. Clever voucher system and a media asset tool directly within the system. As the CI requirements are also impeccably implemented to suit different browser versions. In my view iBrams is the ideal solution," says Petra Walton, project manager at Media IT Services. The Media IT Services portal solution for L’Oréal was singled out as the best vendor solution in its category. "This result confirms the high performance of our iBrams-based solution. The portal with integrated shop makes it easier for companies, agencies and service providers to collaborate in creating and coordinating marketing material and speeds up what were once time-consuming routine processes," Walton added. "Our offering can also be integrated into existing systems with little implementation effort".
The "Web-to-Print 09/10" study is intended to serve both as a market overview and as an aid to decision-making for managers in printing and media companies and agencies as well as for service providers, users and decision makers in the industry (IT departments, marketing and marketing services).
