Gerhard Maier is new Vice President Sales & Marketing

Frankfurt/Main, January 26, 2009 – In late 2008, Gerhard Maier assumed the post of Vice President Sales and Marketing at CDO Corporate Design Online, where he is responsible for global sales activities. Maier has extensive international sales experience, which he will apply to advance the expansion of CDO's international business. His focus will be on the U.S. and U.K. markets, in addition to the further development of the iBrams markets in Austria and Eastern Europe. Maier will also focus on the expansion of the existing CDO sales network in Germany, Switzerland and France, as well as the support of sales activities by targeted marketing measures.
"We spent quite some time in search of an internationally experienced sales manager who also had marketing experience. Ideally, we wanted someone who had worked for a U.S. software company that operates in the same or similar area of expertise as we do," said Andreas Michalski, CEO of CDO. "In Gerhard Maier we have found a co-worker who is excellently suited for this position and who perfectly meets our high demands. This is why we are very pleased that Mr. Maier has agreed to join our company."
"In addition to the expansion of the domestic market, our common goal for 2009 is to continue growing internationally and I am looking forward to this personal and professional challenge," said Maier. "I was fully convinced by CDO as a corporation and by the people behind it," Maier added, explaining his decision to join CDO.
Prior to joining CDO, Maier held the post of Director Central Europe at Aprimo, where he was in charge of establishing the company in the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Benelux, and Eastern Europe regions. Prior to that he introduced Unica to Central Europe as Sales Director. Other posts held by Gerhard Maier include Country Manager of Nassda, where he was responsible for all sales activities in Central, Northern and Eastern Europe, as well as Country Manager for Plumtree, where he was in charge of re-establishing the DACH region. Maier gained his extensive technical expertise while studying electrical engineering at TU München.
